What should I wear?

Welcome Party — Resort Cocktail Attire
Festive, polished attire for an evening on the rooftop at SipSip.

Wedding — Formal Attire
Formal attire is requested for our ceremony and reception at the Rusty Pelican.

After Party — Wedding Attire
The After Party is immediately following the wedding, so there is no need to change. Come straight from the wedding and keep celebrating with us!

The Newlywed Send-Off — Come As You Are Casual
Keep it comfortable and casual for our Saturday morning get-together at The Keg.

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, so we recommend arriving at the Rusty Pelican by 4:00 PM. This will give you plenty of time to valet, get settled, make your way upstairs, and find your seat without feeling rushed.

Arrive a little early? Even better! Feel free to grab a drink at the downstairs bar, get settled, and get ready to celebrate with us before heading upstairs for the ceremony.

Since our wedding is on a Friday afternoon in Miami, traffic can be heavy—especially heading toward Key Biscayne. Please plan accordingly and allow extra travel time so you don’t miss the start of the celebration!

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of a few children in our immediate families who are participating in the wedding. We hope you’re able to enjoy a night out and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to the size of our families and our guest list, we’re only able to accommodate the guests specifically invited. If a plus one has been included with your invitation, it will be indicated on your formal invitation and reflected when you RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Are the events indoors or outdoors?

The Welcome Party will be outdoors on the rooftop at SipSip.

For the wedding, the ceremony and reception will be indoors, while cocktail hour will be outside overlooking the water.

Where is the wedding located within the Rusty Pelican?

The wedding will take place on the second floor of the Rusty Pelican.

How should I get to the Welcome Party?

Valet parking is available at the Mayfair for a fee. However, parking around the hotel is very limited, so we strongly recommend Uber/Lyft for the easiest arrival.

The Welcome Party is on the rooftop, so guests will enter through the hotel and take the elevator to the rooftop.

How should I get to the wedding?

Transportation will be provided to the Rusty Pelican with shuttle pickups from both the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden and the Marriott.

Shuttle Pickup Times: TBD

We will update the website with exact departure times once the transportation schedule is finalized.

Guests may also Uber/Lyft directly to the Rusty Pelican. Since the wedding is on a Friday afternoon in Miami, we strongly recommend allowing extra travel time due to traffic, particularly when traveling toward Key Biscayne.

How do I get to the After Party?

For guests who would like to keep celebrating, our wedding transportation will drop guests off at Barracuda Taphouse & Grill in Coconut Grove after the reception.

Barracuda is also within walking distance of the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden, so guests staying at the Mayfair can easily walk back to the hotel afterward.

Which airport should I fly into?

Miami International Airport (MIA) is the closest and most convenient airport for guests staying in Coconut Grove and at the Mayfair.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is also an option, but guests should plan for at least an hour of driving time, potentially longer depending on Miami traffic.
